Liquid nitrogen containers are made of stainless steel containers with carbon steel outer layer for insulation. They are designed for the preservation of laboratory samples at temperatures as low as -190°C. The containers contain liquid nitrogen that has been liquefied and transformed into cryogenic liquid state.
